The concept of the Steel 7 Slimline has been designed around the Oak-Pine 7 Lath Slimline which has been a top seller year on year. The Steel 7 Slimline utilises the use of steel box section powder coated end frames, giving it a slim appearance and great strength. The end frames carry the laths, and are designed to be locked down along the length of lath if desired. The 7 Pine laths being made from N.Z grown finger jointed pine. Pine being the first choice for centuries, being light yet strong. Finger jointed is used, as opposed to straight runs of timber, because there is far less chance of bending or twisting, the knots and areas of excess resin are removed, so no staining of clothes. All of our laths are machined to a standard size, then hand sanded to a super smooth finish, the wood is left in it’s natural state.
